
We already know a lot of the specifications on the new Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone, the handset will be made official at IFA next month, along with the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.
The Sony Xperia Z3 has now turned up in China’s TENAA, which is the equivalent of the FCC, and there appear to be two versions of the handset, one with GSM/TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA and another with WCDMA.
We previously heard that the new Sony Xperia Z3 would come with a 5.2 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device will feature a quad core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor.

Other specifications on the Sony Xperia Z3 are said to include 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU, the device will also feature 16GB of included storage, plus a microSD card slot that will support 128GB cards.
The Sony Xperia Z3 will be equipped with Sony’s Exmor camera sensors, the rear camera is said to be a Sony Exmor RS 20.7 megapixel module, and the front camera is said to be a Sony Emore R sensor with 2 megapixel.
The handset is expected to launch with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and it is rumored to be waterproof like the Sony Xperia Z2, we should have more details when it is made official at IFA.
