Sony is continuing the global roll out out its new Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact smartphones. The company is launching its new handsets in Hong Kong.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 features a 5.7 inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixel and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device features A Snapdragon 845 mobile processor from Qualcomm and it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The handset also comes with a microSD card slot for extra storage and it features high end cameras on the front and back. On the front of the device there is a 5 megapixel camera with a wide angle lens for Selfies and video chat. On the back of the device there is a 19 megapixel camera for photos and videos. The handset also comes with a 3180 mAh battery.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has slightly different specifications, the handset comes with a 5 inch display that features a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The device is also powered by a Snapdragon 845 and comes with 4gB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The cameras are the same on both handsets.
Both devices are equipped with Android 8.0 Oreo and come with an IP68 rating, they will be available in a range of colors in Hong Kong. Sony is now taking pre-orders of the handsets ahead of their launch on the 23rd of March.
