The new Sony Xperia XZ and XZ Compact smartphones are now official and we have some details about their launch in the UK.
Sony previously said that they would be launching the new Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact in March globally and now we have some details about the UK launch.
UK Launch Details
According to EE, the handset will launch on their network in the UK on the 6th of April. Vodafone has not given an exact launch date for the device as yet. You can see EE’s statement below.
“EE, part of BT Group, today announced that it plans to offer Sony’s latest flagship device, the Xperia XZ2 on its superfast network when it launches on the 6 April.”
This announcement is significant as EE is known for its extensive 4G coverage and high-speed network, which will allow users to fully experience the capabilities of the Xperia XZ2. The Xperia XZ2 Compact, a smaller yet equally powerful version of the flagship, will also be available, catering to users who prefer a more pocket-friendly device without compromising on performance.
