Yesterday we heard about the new Selfie smartphone from Sony, the handset is called the Sony Xperia C3 and the company says that the device is ‘the world’s best selfie smartphone.
The Sony Xperia C3 features a front facing 5 megapixel wide angle camera, that is designed for taking selfies and also video calls, the camera features a soft flash which can be used by double tapping the back cover of the handset, and photos can be shared easily in just three clicks.
On the back of the handset there is an 8 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera, and the handset also comes with a 5.5 inch IPS display that has a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Under the hood of the new Sony Xperia C3 is a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, plus an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The handset is also equipped with 8GB of built in storage, this can be expanded by a further 32GB via the microSD card slot.
Other specifications on the new Sony Xperia C3 include a 2500 mAH battery, WiFi and Bluetooth, the handset also comes with Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Xperia C3 will be available in a range of colors, which include, white, black and mint green, the handset will go on sale in August, it will launch in China first and then other countries.
