Sonnet has unveiled a new storage solution they have added to their range in the form of the new Fusion F2QR drive which provides a small portable drive supporting RAID measuring 5.9 x 6.1 x 0.95 inches.
The Fusion F2, two-drive RAID SATA storage system, has a built-in hardware RAID controller for configuring the drives and offers connection via eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400, or USB 2.0 cable. Its constructed from aluminium, and includes 2 x 2.5″ 1TB HDDs positioned side-by-side.
The Fusion F2 drive features a quad interface that requires just a single data cable to connect the enclosure to an eSATA host controller card for the fastest data transfers possible. The Sonnet Fusion F2QR Portable 2 Drive RAID storage is now available to purchase for $569.
