It looks like there could be a problem with some Samsung Galaxy devices and the messaging app on the handset. A number of user have reported that the app has randomly sent photos to their contacts without their knowledge.
According to various reports on Reddit and Samsung forums the issue appears to be with the messaging app on various Samsung devices. This includes recent handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 8.
One Redditor posted that his whole photo library was sent to his girlfriend in the middle of the night, although this was not shown in the messaging app.
This could be a major problem for some people if photos are being sent to random contacts, especially if private photos are sent to the wrong person. Gizmodo have spoken to Samsung about it and they had the following to say.
