Samsung’s mobile boss Koh Dong-jin has announced that he intends to rebuild the company’s customers trust after the Galaxy Note 7 recall and issues.
Speaking at a press conference, the Samsung mobile boss said that the company would find the exact cause of the problems with the Note 7, you can see the official statement below.
Koh Dong-jin said that he “would at any cost find the exact cause (of the faulty Galaxy Note 7) to restore trust of consumers so that they can use Samsung products without any safety concerns.”
Samsung had originally thought that the battery was the problem on the handset, they then replaced some of the batteries with a new one and unfortunately the problem still persisted. The company then decided to cut their loses and cancel the handset.
Some rumors have suggested that a combination of the large capacity battery and the fast charging feature on the handset have contributed to the problems, as yet this has not been confirmed.
