Samsung have unveiled five new lenses compatible with its popular NX camera range and featuring the new i-Function system.The new lens range includes Samsung’s 18-200mm multi-purpose Long Zoom Lens with fast and silent Auto-Focus due to Samsung’s use of Voice Coil Motor (VCM) technology, and features Optical Image Stabilisation.
A compact 16mm F2.4 Ultra Wide Pancake Lens, together with a new 60mm Macro Lens features a Super Sonic Actuator (SSA) to deliver a fast, quiet Auto-Focus and offers the ability to manually fine-tune focusing using the Full-Time Manual Focus.
A Premium Portrait Lens the ultra bright 85mm F1.4 CSC lens designed as the ideal solution for capturing perfect and professional looking portrait pictures of friends or loved ones.
Finally Samsung’s 16-80mm Advanced Standard Zoom Lens is optimised for taking great movies and still shots.
The new range of lenses includes three prime lenses, together with two movie-optimised zooms. The 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OIS and 16-80mm F3.5-4.5 will be arriving in December 2011 and the new 16mm F2.4, 60mm F2.8 OIS Macro and 85mm F1.4 will be arriving sometime between July and October 2011.
