Samsung recalled all the Galaxy Note 7 smartphones across the globe, and is still trying to find out the root cause which caused all the explosion incidents.
According to a new report from Wall Street Journal, Samsung still doesn’t know what caused all the Galaxy Note 7 incidents.
“We recognized that we did not correctly identify the issue the first time and remain committed to finding the root cause,” a company spokesperson said. “Our top priority remains the safety of our customers and retrieving 100% of the Galaxy Note 7 devices in the market.”
As a recap, the reports of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 catching fire first emerged in September with the company recalling the handset to find the cause. The company relaunched the safer version of the handset, but it turned out it wasn’t that safe after all with the company finally putting an end to it, causing a loss of billions of dollars.
Apparently, a team is still working on to find what actually caused the handsets to explode, we’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more.
