Apple’s iPhone 6S is not expected to launch until around September of 2015, although we have already heard a wide range of rumors about the handset.
According to a new report Samsung will apparently be supplying Apple with the DRAM chips for the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones.
Samsung is also rumored to be supplying LG with the DRAM for their new LG G4 smartphone, the handset is rumored to be announced some time in April.
According to the Korea Times, Apple and Samsung have apparently signed a new agreement which will see Samsung supply around 50 percent of the RAM chips for Apple’s new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones.
Samsung is also expected to be one of the major manufacturers of the new Apple A9 processor that is expected to launch with Apple’s next generation iPhone later in the year.
