We have heard a number of rumors about the new LG G4 smartphone, we previously heard that LG will not announced the handset at Mobile World Congress next month.
Now according to a recent report the new LG G4 handset will be made official in April, LG have apparently chosen not to launch at MWC 2015 so they don’t go up against the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S6.
The news comes in the form of a report from the Korea Times, who have apparently received some details from a LG source, who had the following to say about their new handset.
“Samsung usually releases its new flagship model in the first quarter of each year, and Apple in the second quarter,” he said. “We need some in-between time to make a bigger splash.”
The LG G4 is expected to feature an eight core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM, the handset is also rumored to come with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other rumored specifications on the new LG G4 include a 16 megapixel rear facing camera with Laser Auto Focus and Optical Image Stabilization, the device will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
As soon as we get some more details about the new LG G4 smartphone, including the launch date of the device and also some photos of the handset, we will let you guys know.
