We’ve heard quite a lot of times in the past that Samsung is working on a foldable smartphones, but we haven’t seen any concrete evidence of its existence.
According to a new report surfacing from Korean shores, Samsung is not only working on one but two foldable smartphones which may launch next year.
The report suggests that the company is working on a dual-screen smartphone which features a flat display on either side and a foldable smartphone with a foldable OLED display. The company will apparently launch the dual-screen smartphone at first, and based on the response it gets from the customers, it will then decide whether or not the foldable smartphone is released.
Rumors suggest there may not be a bend in the panel itself but a hinge in the middle with a flat display on either side. There’s no word from Samsung about any such smartphone, and there won’t be any until and unless Samsung is sure that it has developed the technology which can be released for the general public, that too with an affordable price tag.
We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about it.
