Samsung has recalled the 2.5 million units of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone that it sold, this is being done because there is a risk of some of the devices catching fire.
Now Samsung has released a website which will let you check if your handset may have a faulty battery this can be done by entering your IMEI number here.
According to Sammobile, every Galaxy Note 7 smartphone that was sold outside of China has the faulty battery, so it will end up showing you on the website that your handsets needs to be replaced with a new one.
You can check your IMEI number on your Galaxy Note 7 by going to Settings> About Device> Status and then look under the IMEI number, you can also check it by typing in *#06# in your phones dialer.
