Samsung’s dual camera system launched last year with the Galaxy Note 8, we will also see dual cameras in the new Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. Now Samsung has announced Samsung ISOCELL Dual, a new dual camera system for budget smartphones.
This means that Samsung will be bringing its dual camera technology to more of its handsets this year and it wont just be the flagships that get the technology.
“Dual cameras are delivering new and exciting photo-taking experiences on mobile devices,” said Ben K. Hur, vice president of System LSI marketing at Samsung Electronics. “Samsung’s total solution for ISOCELL Dual will make our customers’ product development process easier, allowing them to bring the most optimized dual camera features to a wider range of consumers.”
