Samsung has added another Android tablet to their range with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, according to Samsung the device is designed for business users.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is designed to be a rugged tablet it comes with an IP67 certification for dust and water and it can survive a 1.2 meter drop.
The Galaxy Tab Active comes with an 8 inch WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the device features a quad core 1.2GHz processor and comes with 1.5GB of RAM, there is also 16GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 64GB.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab Active comes with a 4,450 mAh replaceable battery, the device also features a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera and a rear facing 3.1 megapixel camera.
The tablet comes with 2G, 3G and 4G LTE, and it has the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.4 KitKat, it will be available in one color, Titanium Green.
