We previously heard that Samsung would be reducing the price of their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones and now the company has reduced the price of the handsets in one European country.
Samsung has reduced the price of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in the Netherlands and both devices are now €100 cheaper than before.
The Galaxy S6 was previously available for €699 and it is now available for €599, the S6 Edge was previously available for €799 and it is now available for €699.
We can expect Samsung to reduce the price of both handsets in other European countries shortly, so if you intend to buy one, it might be better to wait until the price is dropped.
Samsung are holding a press conference on the 13th of August where they will announce the new Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and also the Galaxy Note 5, the price of the existing devices is expected to be dropped in more countries before these new handsets launch.
