Samsung Galaxy S5 will hit almost 150 countries on April 11th on major retailers and carriers across the globe. Some of them have already confirmed about carrying the handset, but we haven’t heard much about the pricing of the handset.
If you’re residing in the UK, you be glad to find out that SIM-free Samsung Galaxy S5 up for pre-orders on Unlocked Mobiles for £599.98 including VAT. Those who will pre-order are expected to get the delivery on the global launch day, that is, April 11th.
Let’s just do a quick recall. Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and a clock speed of 2.5GHz.
Other features include 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB, 16MP rear camera for amazing photos and videos, a 2.1MP front-facing camera, heart monitor, fingerprint sensor, a 2,800 mAh battery, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac , Bluetooth 4.0, SB 3.0, NFC and IR Remote.
On the software side, it comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat pre-installed out of the box with a simplified TouchWiz UI on board.
