Recently, Samsung unveiled the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy S5 at the Mobile World Congress Unpacked event in Barcelona. Samsung announced the handset will hit retail shelves globally in April at retail channels, e-commerce and carriers.
For those of you residing in the U.S., several carriers and retail outlets have confirmed about the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5. The handset will be available from T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular and AT&T, as well as a few retailers across the country.
There’s no word about the pricing of the handset on-contract or off-contract, but more details are expected to follow in the coming weeks when we’re close to the release date of the handset.
RadioShack also stated they’ll offer the Samsung Galaxy S5, and have opened up a pre-registration page for their customers who want to find out about the release of the handset, as well as its pricing.
The handset will also hit MetroPCS, but we don’t have any information on when it will be available nor its pricing. All carriers and retailers mention the pricing information will be released in the coming weeks.
