Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy S5, went on sale earlier this month in 150 countries across the globe. Samsung is also rumored to be working on the miniature version of the Galaxy S5, which is expected to see the light of the day in the coming months.
According to a new rumor, the purported Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will come with IP67 certification as well, making the device water-resistant.

The news was confirmed by the folks at Samsung New Zealand, who mentioned in the warranty exclusion section that warranty will be void if the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 Mini and Galaxy S4 Active is submerged in water for 30 minutes or more.
Samsung Galaxy S5 and S4 Active both come with IP67 certifications, so both these devices have a similar term of warranty exclusion in that regard. And, now, it seems the Galaxy S5 Mini will also feature IP67 certification.
As far as other rumored specifications are concerned, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will feature a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1.5GB of RAM.
Other specifications include 16GB storage with a microSD card slot, 8MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera and should come with Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
We’ll update you as soon as Samsung officially unveils the handset.
