
We know that Samsung is working on an in display fingerprint sensor for its smartphones. Previous rumors have suggested that it would not be ready for this years Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
According to a recent report from The Korea Herald the new Galaxy Note 9 will be Samsung’s first smartphone to come with an embedded fingerprint sensor. They have received information from Samsung’s supply chain about the device.
“Samsung Display has prepared three or four solutions for Samsung Electronics to embed the fingerprint sensor inside of the main display, and both are seriously considering one of the solutions,” said the source.
Samsung’s new Note 9 handset is rumored to come with a choice of a Samsung Exynos 9810 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The handset is expected to feature at least 6GB of RAM and could possibly come with 8GB of RAM.
We are expecting storage options to range from 64GB up to 256GB, the handset will also get some updated cameras over the current device. We are expecting the handset to feature a dual camera setup and use the same dual cameras that are used in the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.
Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 9 is expected to launch some time in August, as soon as we get some more details about the handset, we will let you guys know.
