Samsung unveiled their flagship phablet last month at IFA 2014, which is expected to launch in several regions across the globe this month. The handset is set to hit retail in the UK on October 17th.
For Canadian users, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will hit retail a week later, that is, on October 24th. A Canadian carrier Bell has started taking pre-orders of the device for $299.95 tied to a two-year contract, with October 24th as the shipping date.
Those of you who don’t want to get into a two-year commitment, the carrier is offering the device for a whopping $799.95 off-contract.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 brings top-of-the-line hardware on board. The phablet features a big 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, along with a quad-core Snapdragon 805 SoC, and 3GB of RAM.
There’s 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with the help of a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB. Other features include a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 3.7MP front-facing camera, a 3,220 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor, and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
