There are a few left before Samsung releases the next iteration of their popular phablet, the Galaxy Note 3. Samsung usually upgrade its Note line up in September, which means there are still a lot of months in between for the rumor mill to show its magic.
We’ve seen a few rumors about the purported Samsung Galaxy Note 4 already, and the most recent one reveals some details about what the alleged handset could bring at the table.
According to a new leak, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to come with a 5.5/5.6-inch super AMOLED display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which isn’t too off the table. Samsung is also rumored to launch a Samsung Galaxy S5 version with a similar resolution, but let’s just stick to Note 4 for now.
The handset is rumored to come with Snapdragon 805 SoC with 3GB of RAM on board. 3GB? The current Note 3 packs 3GB of RAM, so we may see a 4GB in the alleged Note 4 in my opinion. Other rumored features include 32/64GB storage with a microSD card slot, 16MP camera for photos and videos and a 2MP front-facing camera. There’s no word about the operating system, but it should come with the latest Android version.
There are a few months left in IFA 2014, which takes place in September in Berlin. So, let’s just wait for a few more weeks as I’m sure we’ll get to know a lot more about the purported handset in the coming weeks.
