Recently, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 3 Neo which comes with trimmed down specifications compared to the original Note 3. The handset came out with an older version, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, as its operating system with no word if it will get an update to KitKat or not.
For those of you who are rocking the mid-range Galaxy Note 3 Neo, there’s some good news for you — actually for those residing in Korea. Reports suggest Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in Korea is getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update.

The latest Android 4.4 KitKat update is rolling out over-the-air, and via Kies for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, and updates the software version to N750SKSU1BND3. The update process is gradual so it might take some time for those in Korea to get the update. Alternatively, users can manually check for the update from the Settings or by connecting it to their computer via Kies.
On the positive side, this might as a good news for those Galaxy Note 3 Neo owners in other regions who are waiting for a sign of the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update. If it has rolled out in Korea, there’s a possibility that other regions might get the update as well.
There’s no word from Samsung about it, but we’ll update you if it starts rolling out in other regions.
