We have been hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone for some time, and now the device has turned up in some benchmarks with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will come with a quad core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, the handset will feature a 5.9 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Other specifications on the handset include an Adreno 360 GPU and 2GB of RAM, the device will also feature front and rear facing cameras.
It looks like the front camera on the device will be a full HD capable 1080p 4.7 megapixel camera, the rear camera on the handset is said to be a 12 megapixel camera.
The 12 megapixel rear camera will come with a range of features which will include face recognition, auto-focus, touch to focus and an LED flash.
It looks like the device will come with 8GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion, we suspect it will support the latest 128GB cards.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will come with Android 4.4.3 Kit Kat, and will feature Samsung’s own custom user interface, as yet we do not have any details on a release date or pricing.
As soon as we get some more information on the new Galaxy Mega 2 from Samsung, including some photos, confirmation of the specifications, a release date, and some pricing, we will let you guys know.
