The Samsung Galaxy A8 was made official the other day, although when the handset was launched there were no details on pricing.
The Galaxy A8 is being launched in China and now we have some details on how much the handset will cost.
Prices for the Samsung Galaxy A8 will start at 3,199 CNY which is around $515 at the current exchange rate, this is for the 16GB version, the 32GB model will retail for about $565.
The device features an octa core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and features a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display that has a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy A8 include 2GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB or 32GB of storage, this can be expanded by a microSD card slot.
The handset also comes with a 5 megapixel front camera for Selfies and a 16 megapixel rear camera for photos and videos. We have no details on whether Samsung intends to launch the handset outside of China, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
