When Samsung announced their new Galaxy A7 smartphone on Monday, the company listed the handset with a 5.5 inch HD display, which would give the device a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
It would appear that Samsung made a mistake in their initial announcement, and the Galaxy A7 actually comes with a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The first photo below is the official specifications sheet that was released by Samsung on Monday showing the HD display.

The next photo is a revised specifications sheet which Samsung has now replaced the original one with, and it shows the Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Samsung also released a comparison of the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 a Galaxy A7 and this also showed the A7 with a HD display, this has also been updated, although you can see the original here.
This is good news for fans of the new Galaxy A range of handsets, as the top model comes with a Full HD display, we did wonder when it was announced why Samsung only went for a HD display.
