Earlier this month, Target started offering the colorful iPhone 5C at a discounted price of $49.99 with a two-year contract. Interestingly, it’s not just Target, various retailers across the U.S. are offering a discount on the mid-tier handset including Best Buy, Walmart, Radioshack, etc. Now, a new rumor suggest that the retailer will offer the high-end iPhone 5S at a promotional price of $179.99 with a two-year agreement with carrier and color of choice.
The news is not confirmed yet, but the folks at PhoneArena report, citing a loyal PA reader, that Target will start selling the iPhone 5S at a discounted price, along with many other handsets including iPhone 5C (in all colors), Galaxy S4 and Galaxy SIII. Apple iPhone 5C will come with the same $49.99 price on-contract while the Verizon and AT&T bound Galaxy S4 will come with a $129.99 price tag. If you’re a Sprint user, you can get your hands-on the Galaxy S4 for $149.99. Lastly, last year’s flagship of the Korean OEM, the Galaxy SIII will cost just one cent if you’re willing to sign up a two-year contract.
The anonymous tipster didn’t mention any date when the promotion is expected to start or how long will it be. But, if this sounds good to you, just give a call to a Target store near you.
We’ll update you if we find any information about the abovementioned deals or any other promotion on the iPhones or any popular handset. Since the holiday season is about to start, we’ll see a bunch of similar deals from several retailers across the country.
