If your like me, you probably have multiple passwords and logins for way too many sites to remember and having used password generators to create some of the secure logins all I have now are the cryptic dots.

Well if you would like to recover these passwords from any browser Andrew Worcester has created a great little bookmarklet called Reveal Passwords that allows you to reveal the cryptic dots and show the password once again.

Reveal Passwords Bookmarklet

Simply drag the link from Andrew’s website to your bookmark bar and click it when you’re on a page with a password to remove the dots and reveal your password for that browser session.

This script has been tested in:

  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Firefox 3.6
  • Chrome
  • Opera 11
  • Safari (Windows)

You can find the bookmarklet on Andrew Worcester website.
