As announced last week and on schedule, Razer as introduced their new Razer Project Fiona at CES this week, revealing their new hardcore gaming tablet codenamed “Project Fiona’.
The Razer Project Fiona is a 10.1 inch gaming touchscreen tablet sporting a resolution of 1280 x 800, equipped with twin joystick controls, one on either side of the tablet. Watch the Razer Project Fiona promotional video after the jump to see it up close.
Its powered by an Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor, and equipped with a 3-axis gryo, magnetometer, accelerometer, force feedback, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth 3.0.
Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan explains:
“We are looking to change the whole perception of tablets,” – “This first-of-its-kind PC gaming tablet with integrated dual controllers is definitely not for playing casual games about unhappy birds or zombie-killing flora,”
Razer is hoping to launch Project Fiona late this year early next, and its expected to retail for less than $1000 or £650.
