
A new Radar Watch has been created by watch designer Lee Kam Chan inspired by cold-war era military equipment. Launched via Kickstarter this week, pledges for the unique wrist watch are available from £177. If all goes well of the Kickstarter campaign is successful and manufacturing progresses smoothly worldwide shipping should commence sometime around September 2019.

“Radars are commonly used in the military for detecting the presence, direction, distance, and speed of aircraft, ships, and other objects. Its Industrial wind design is reflected in its simplicity and clean lines, while the Japan engineering is made apparent through the quality of the watch. This gives the watch a rugged and trendy look that suits both men and women. All materials were carefully selected to make this watch a timepiece you will want to wear every day.”
The Radar Watch range includes five different models :
– Radar Black with its all black case and all black mesh band with safety lock. Wrist and dial with Super-LumiNova best represents the design inspiration for this watch, which is military equipment.
