Network attached storage manufacturer QNAP has this week announced the availability of its new Intel Dual-core TS-251B SOHO NAS offering 4K media transcoding and streaming capabilities, 4K HDMI output, and a wide range of backup and sharing applications to choose from.
Powered by a 14nm Intel Celeron J3355 dual-core 2.0GHz processor offering bursts up to 2.5 GHz supported by 2GB or 4GB DDR3L RAM with the ability to install up to 8GB. Together with a a single Gigabit LAN port, and supporting SATA 6Gb/s drives, the TS-251B provides dependable read/write speeds and provides Intel AES-NI hardware-accelerated encryption keeping your documents and media safe from prying eyes
