The Pour Lab coffee maker is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise $15,000 in pledges and has 5 days left to raise the required last $4,500 in funding. Ruch its creator explains a little more :
“Pour over brewing is the easiest way to get the most flavor and complexity into your cup. It produces cleanly filtered coffee that’s not overly concentrated as to mask the subtle flavors that nature can impart in the magical coffee bean. Pour Lab eliminates all the plastic and clutter of other systems, and gives you a beautiful place to refine the creation of your perfect cup of coffee.
The hardwood used in the Pour Lab’s platform is taken from the scrap bin at our Brooklyn furniture shop. The steel stands are fabricated at a small family owned shop in upstate NY. We finish, inspect and pack everything ourselves to make sure you get a beautiful product that will stand up to years and years of daily use.
Choose from five domestic hardwood varieties. They are all assembled from salvaged scraps from our furniture shop, and finished with natural oil and wax blend that protects and enhances the natural beauty of each separate species.”
