As expected the PlayStation Vue Android application has launched today bringing with it new features for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
Once you’ve downloaded the PS Vue Android app and signed in with your Sony Entertainment Network account you will be able to access all the content directly from your mobile Android smartphone or tablet.
Sony explains a little more about what you can expect from the PlayStation Vue Android app which requires your device to be running Android 4.4 or higher :
Some channels are not available through PlayStation Vue Mobile due to streaming rights, and will be marked as such with a Mobile Restricted badge. If you experience all channels being marked as Mobile Restricted, you will need to re-establish your home location on your mobile device. To do so, simply select Sign Out from the PS Vue mobile menu, connect your device to the Home Network where you originated your PlayStation Vue subscription, and log back into the PlayStation Vue Mobile application.
Free trial offer is for new customers only, limit one per account. Credit card and compatible viewing device required. After the trial, your credit card will be charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the end of the trial.
