Philips has added a new TV to its range with the launch of the Philips Econova Green TV, but the interesting part about it, is the remote control that comes with it.
The Philips Econova Green TV remote is solar powered, and unless you live in a cave, the light coming into your room should be enough to recharge the remote so you have plenty of juice for channel surfing.
The remote will only be available with the TV, but we think Philips should make a universal remote version for any TV, I would definitely buy one, I think its a great idea.
