Skype and Panasonic have teamed up to create a new Web camera for the Panasonic VIERA range of TV’s. The new Panasonic TY-CC10W Skype-enabled camera has a wide angle lens capable of recording 720p @ 22fps and is fitted with four unidirectional mics with audio processing to reduce echoes during capture.
The new Web camera allows owners of 2010 VIERA CAST-enabled Panasonic VIERA Plasma HDTVs: VT25, VT20, G25, and G20 Series to make voice and video calls to family and friends directly through their Panasonic VIERA HDTV.
The new Panasonic TY-CC10W Skype-enabled camera is available to buy for $170 and the only camera that enables access to Skype on your VIERA.
