Orsto based in the UK has created and designed a new smartwatch to compete with the bigger smartwatch manufactures such as Apple and Motorola called the ORSTO Q2.
The Q2 smartwatch is already in its prototyping stage and is gearing up to go into production if the company can raise the required £30,000 in funding via Kickstarter. Watch the video below to learn more about the Q2’s features.
The Q2 is available in a selection of finishes that include gold, silver and black and is available to pledge for over on Kickstarter priced at just £65. Offering a substantial discount off the intended retail price of £129.95.
The ORSTO Q2 smartwatch is fitted with a 1.22 inch colour IPS OGS Capacitive Multi-Touch Display and features a battery life of 2-4 days. The smartwatch is also waterproof to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes thanks to its IP67 water resistant certification. Other features include :
– Convenient Motion Control functionality allows you to do things like: Answer and Make Calls with a shake, Turn pages with a shake, and to hang up a Call by turning your wrist gently upside down.
– G Sensor, Gyroscope and E-compass accurately measure Orientation, Direction and Speed of movement (G Force) to work effectively and conveniently with Fitness, Hobby, Sport, Extreme Activities and Gaming Apps.
– Optical Heart Rate Sensor sits against the wearers skin and accurately detects the Heart Rate of the wearer.
