Korean company InSignal has this week released details of their latest creation, the Origen 4 Quad development board, which is set to replace the Origen board Samsung Exynos 4212.
The latest Origen 4 Quad board is based on the Exynos 4412 quad-core Cortex A9 processor, the same as the one in the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone, and should be available to purchase for around $199 in its basic form.
Or for a more hefty $469 if you would prefer to have a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 resolution LCD and touchscreen display. Together with sound board, wireless connectivity board, and HDMI, USB, and serial cables.

The Origen 4 Quad is suitable to run Google Android or a choice of Linux distros, and comes with a software bundle including U-boot 1.3.4, kernel 3.0.15, and Android 4.0.4.
