
We already know that OnePlus plans to launch the One smartphone in India soon. The company mentioned it will go on sale through India-based invite system for customers interested in the handset.
Now, it appears the launch of the OnePlus One in India is imminent. Recently, Amazon India posted a teaser on their website, showing what appears to be the sandstone black version of the OnePlus One. Furthermore, it seems the handset will be exclusive to Amazon India when it launches in the coming weeks.
There’s no word on how the invite-based system will work in India, but we’ll update you as soon as we find out more details about it. There’s no word about the availability, but it should cost around Rs. 25,000 for the 64GB version when it launches.
As for the specifications, OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Cyanogenmod on top of it. It’s powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16/64GB of internal storage. There’s a 13MP camera on the back for photos and videos, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 3,100 mAh battery to make sure it doesn’t run out of juice.
