It seems that Onda is preparing to launch a new convertible notebook in the form of the Onda Obook 12 which has been spotted over on the Aliexpress website although pricing for the new system seem to be a little vague at the moment with prices ranging from $435-$530 on different sites.
The specifications for the new Onda Obook 12 are listed as including a 12.2 inch touchscreen IPS display with 178 degree viewing angles that provides users with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and can be flipped 360 degrees to transform the notebook into a tablet device when required.
The system is powered by Intel Atom x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and includes 64GB of internal storage and comes supplied running Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 home operating system. The system is also equipped with a 2 megapixel front facing camera and connectivity support for Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11b/g/n.
Other features of the convertible notebook include a 30 Wh battery, together with ports for USB 3.0, USB 2.0, micro USB, HDMI and a handy microSD card reader for further memory expansion when required.
