As well as unveiling their new Olympus Stylus SH-1 camera, Olympus has also unveiled their new Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3 compact camera which has been designed to offer consumers a rugged camera with impressive macro photography features.
The new Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3 is equipped with a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor is joined by a TruePic VII processor, a 3-inch 460k-dot LCD on the rear, but unfortunately this is not touchscreen.
Other features of the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3 camera include, built-in wireless connectivity and also offers the fastest-in-class 4x 25-100mm equivalent f/2.0-4.9 lens. Together with GPS, water depth and elevation sensors, and an e-compass.
The camera can also accept new telephoto and wide-angle conversion lenses and is freezeproof to 14-degrees F, waterproof down to 50ft, shockproof from 7 feet up, crushproof to 220 pounds and dustproof and will be available in both red and black for around $350 during June of the is year.
