We have been hearing rumors for a while about the new NVIDIA Shield 2, and now according to a recent report, the console may launch in July.
According to recent information, the NVIDIA Shield 2 will launch globally on the 22nd of July, this date is not official yet and has not been confirmed by NVIDIA.
The NVIDIA Shield 2 is rumored to be powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and will come with a clock speed of 2.5GHz.
The device is also said to feature a a GeForce Kepler GPU and will apparently come with 4GB of RAM, it will also feature 16GB of built in storage and it will come with Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat, the display is said to come with a resolution of 1440 x 810 pixels.
So far these are the only details we know on the NVIDIA Shield 2, it is not clear as yet on whether the console will get a new design, or if NVIDIA will continue with the original design for the second generation Shield.
As soon as we get some more details on the new NVIDIA Shield 2, including full specifications, confirmation of the launch date of the 22nd of July, plus some actual photos of the device, we will let you guys know.
