A new Android Oreo beta update for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus has been released. The software is available for owners of the two handsets that have signed up to Samsung’s beta program.
Samsung are intended to end their beta program for their Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones on the 15th of January. The final version of the software is expected to be released to everyone some time soon after this although Samsung have not give an exact date as yet.
As the release of this Android Oreo beta update is so close to when the program is shutting down, this could be the last beta that is released for the two smartphones. The latest beta comes with some bug fixes and performance improvements and it also includes the latest Android security patch for the month of January.
As yet there are no details on exactly when Samsung will release the final Android Oreo update for their Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. As the beta end on the 15th of January we suspect the final version will be released some time before the end of the month.
