In case you’re tired of the usual box-type speakers for your iPhone/iPad then why not go for the fruit n’ animal themed series of portable speakers from Japanese accessory maker Momoyama.
Dubbed the Ceramica line, the speakers come in either animal (like pig, hippo, bull, bear and elephant) or fruit shapes and easily connect to a docked iPod touch or similar Apple device. We think the fruits, which are sliced in half, are a rather cheeky compliment to the iPod.
Oddly enough, the animals (of the cutified variety) get plugged through their butt holes. Intentional or not, no small amount of humor went into these designs.
By the way, the ceramic fruit might look appealing, but please don’t bite them. These speakers go for $45 a pop at online stores like Geek Stuff 4 U and Rinkya.
