Yesterday Qualcomm announced their new Snapdragon 821 processor.We can expect to see the processor is some new devices this year and the first ones may be the new Google Nexus smartphones.
This new processor is a faster version of the Snapdragon 820 and it comes with performance improvements of around 10% over the Snapdragon 820.
The two new Google Nexus smartphones are currently codenamed Sailfish and Marlin and HTC are apparently making the handsets for Google.
We previously heard some rumored specifications on the ‘Sailfish’ Nexus smartphone, the handset is rumored to feature a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560x 1440 pixels.
The device will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, there will also be other storage options up to 128GB. The handset is also rumored to come with an 8 megapixel front camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera. Other specifications include a 3450 mAh battery and it will come with Android Nougat.
As yet there are no details on when these two new Google Nexus smartphones will launch, as soon as we get some other details, we will let you guys know.
