Motorola will announce the new Motorola Moto X smartphone at a press event in new York on Thursday, and according to a recent report, the handset may actually go on sale this week.
Motorola has apparently started shipping the new Motorola Moto X out to various mobile carriers and also retailers, ahead of the handsets official announcement.
Motorola are holding their press event in New York on Thursday the 1st of August at 8PM, which could mean that the handset may end up in stores this Friday
The Motorola Moto X is rumored to feature a dual core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, it will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage and will feature a HD display.
The HD display on the Moto X will measure 4.5 inches and will come with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the handset will also come with an Adreno 320 GPU and will come with front and rear cameras.
On the front of the Moto X will be a 2.1 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back will be a 10.5 megapixel camera for photos and video, the handset will also feature NFC and a 2,200 mAh battery.
The handset is expected to launch with the major carriers in the US, which includes Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular, as soon as we get some more details about the launch date of the handset we will let you guys know.
