If you’re in the market looking for a budget-friendly Windows Phone handset, or simply a spare handset which shouldn’t be too heavy on your pocket, Lumia 530 is not a bad choice at all.
It becomes even better as customers interested in the handset can grab it for just £49.99 from Amazon UK, and that’s SIM-free. The SIM-free version usually costs around £90 at different retailers in the UK so you’re saving £40 on the purchase.
Lumia 530 doesn’t offer users with eye-popping specifications, and what else do you want from a £49.99 smartphone? There aren’t too many noticeable differences when you compare it with its predecessor, but it comes with Windows Phone 8.1 pre-installed out of the box, and feature a 4-inch display rocking a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels.
The handset is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot. Other features include a 5MP rear camera for photos and videos, WiFI, Bluetooth, and a 1,430 mAH battery.
It’s definitely a decent smartphone if you want to give Windows Phone a try as well. Anyone planning to pick up the Lumia 530 from Amazon in the UK?
