Following on from its first unveiling back at CES 2018 in January, the new Mele PCG02 Apo fanless stick mini PC is now available to purchase online priced at $200. Powered by an Intel “Apollo Lake” Celeron N3450 quad-core processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and equipped with 32GB of eMMC flash internal storage and a handy micro SD slot.
The pocket sized fanless mini PC measure just 150 x 54 x 16.5 mm in size and offers users a full Microsoft Windows computer that comes preloaded with the Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system. It has also been rumoured that Mele is planning to make available versions equipped with either an Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core or Intel Pentium N4200 quad-core processor, although no pricing or availability has been announced as yet.
Simply plug the mini PC into the HDMI port on your monitor or large screen TV to access a Windows 10 PC with connectivity provided by Gigabit Ethernet, Dual band 802.11 b/g/n/ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2. The stick PC is also supplied with a power adapter and exchangeable plugs for GS (Europe), UK, SAA (Standard Association of Australia) and UL (US/Canada) standards.
The features of the mini PC include HDMI 1.4 port offering resolutions up to 4K @ 30 Hz, audio via HDMI and 3.5mm audio combo jack, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, Kensington lock slot, power button and a 5V/3A micro USB port for power.
