Photographers who are also equipped with Apple’s iPhone smartphone, might be interested in a new adapter called the Luxi which transforms your Apple smartphone into an iPhone light meter.
The Luxi iPhone light meter consists of a diffusion dome that fits securely over your iPhone’s front-facing camera. Once attached the Luxi can be used with its companion Luxi application to help you calculate the best settings for photos using your DSLR camera.
Luxi iPhone light meter is now available to purchase directly from the ES Devices website for $29.95 and is available for both the latest iPhone 5 and 5S smartphones as well as the older iPhone 4 and 4S and delivers results that are comparable to a traditional light meter.
