Cyclists may be interested in a new Kickstarter campaign launched by Licht who have designed a unique multifunctional bicycle smart lighting system. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the handlebar grips that include a headlight turn signal brake light, strobes and emergency blinker all in one compact design.
“If you commute by bicycle after dark, then you need lights. Not everyone wants a headlight cluttering up their handlebars, however, plus they may forget to bring it if they head out while the sun’s still up. That’s why LICHT Smart Grip was created. It’s a set of bar grips that feature unobtrusive built-in head- and tail lights, along with laser lane markers. We tried it out, to see if it’s up to snuff.”
The Licht is now available to back via Kickstarter with super early bird deals available from $63 or roughly £48. If all goes well worldwide shipping is expected to take place next month during July 2018. Specifications of the Licht include:
– Smart Sensor for Automatic Brake Lights
– Premium Silicon Grip
– Headlight: 125 Lumens (0.8 watts)
– Turn Signal: 28 Lumens (0.2 watts)
– Brake light: 65 Lumens (0.5 watts)
– Ergonomic Design
– Easy installation and one touch control buttons
– Waterproof
– Durable
