Ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2014 last month, LG released a number of smartphones for the budget-conscious users, that is, the new L Series III handsets.
As always, LG didn’t give out an exact release date or the price tag they will come along with in the press release. But, if you’re waiting for a price estimate, the LG L70 will go on sale in Taiwan next month for T$4990 (almost $163) and will hit retail on April 1st, according to a Taiwanese website ePrice.
The handset is also up for sale on Amazon Germany, but the asking price is a little higher in the country, that is, 179 Euros (almost $246). There’s no word about the launch of the handset in Germany, but it could very well be the April as well.
As far as the hardware specifications are concerned, you’d get your hands on a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage with microSD card support of up to 32GB, a 2,100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
There’s no word about the launch of the handset as well as the other two L series offerings, but we’ll update you as soon as hear anything.
